Having seen this trim pop up on offer, I decided to give it ago, having driven a little electric BMW at work I quite liked the blue pipe trim every where, it reminded me of Tron. So I took the plunge and I must say it looks very good, I didn't go over the top and put it everywhere, just a big loop around the center console and centre section on the door cards, it very easy to fit, but I found a flat head screw driver more useful than the accompanying tool. My self and the teens think it looks nice, my wife thinks I have regressed. But overall I'm happy with the results. Firstly because it comes in a coil it was difficult to get it to stay in the gaps. I found if you straighten it first it's much easier to apply. So this is what you need to do first. You have to get it inbetween your thumb and finger. At the same time slightly bend in the opposite direction whilst running your thumb and finger down it. It's all in the preparation.
