I mounted inside the window so a little light leaks around the edges but I expected that. If you mount outside window frame you will get true blackout. I love the gray color, it’s almost silver. I also love that you can position the string anywhere you want - left, right, center or anywhere in between. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok for price *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2020* I wish they had 1/2 sizes. I bought one too big by like 5mm then had to go an inch smaller. The top as they state has a gap as well. It is not total black out for this reason. If you want a perfect fit you will have to pay more as it is it works ok. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Easy to install, but not the smoothest to operate *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2020* These were very easy to install and look great. They do stand out from the wall a bit more than we had hoped (we have them mounted on the outside of our window frame), and unfortunately, they don't retract easily. It takes several tugs, sometimes with the blind reaching its absolute maximum length, before the blind retracts.
