Very grippy, quite soft sole though you can feel a lot of what youre stepping on. However they do feel pretty lightweight and flimsy, Id be surprised if they last more than 6-12 months of daily building site use, but for the price I'd happily buy another pair when they start to fall apart rather than trashing a more expensive pair.
