After I found out that the chimney piece did not fit which required that I filed the opening, I was going to give the smoker two stars. Yet, I have used it multiple times by now, and it works! Not brilliantly (largely due to its size), but effectively. Both chambers do their job, and both wood and coal can be used. Of course, it would be nice if there was a sliding door at the bottom of both chambers for cleaning purposes or a small mesh door on the front cover for aesthetic purposes (to see the fire), but given its price (75£), I cannot complain.
