Well let me tell you- this dye was a major exception. I did a test strand for 15 mins and was SHOCKED when I realized it actually worked in 15 minutes, and gave me a beautiful light hue. Unfortunately, it washed almost entirely out. I think I would have been happier if it washed entirely out, because I was left with an uneven hue! I bought some products from Ulta that I'm going to pick up tomorrow and use to try to fix this. Also of note - it is incredibly liquidy. I've used punky color in the past and it's really thick. This is not like that, so it made it more difficult to use and had poor coverage. I have thin, shoulder length hair and I needed the entire bottle. I ordered another bottle while my hair was processing because I knew I would need touch ups. But once I saw it washed out, I cancelled the order.
