Used in HP 820 g1. As many have mentioned - it runs quite hot, especially when under full load. Out of the box it went as high as 86C during a 32gb crystal disk mark test, and was idling around 54C, which was quite unacceptable to me. As a result I applied this SSD with a thermal silicone pad and a copper heatsink. In the consecutive tests temperatures consistently stayed below 63C under full load and 40C at idle. The item arrived well packaged, and it delivers close to promised speeds. Installation was near effortless.
