We use it as a coffee table in our living room and it looks and functions as I hoped it would. We've had it for about 6 months now and I'm a little disappointed with how much the black part has chipped and how easy the top part scratches. If you have kids like we do, beware! This bench also tips over quite easily so I always have to watch my toddler very closely around it.
