Not that you would want anywhere near that much weight strapped to your arm. But that's not the point: These are the real-deal, quarter-sized, rare-earth neodymium magnets. Any more hyphens and they would create time distortion, and then you'd always be late to work because of powerful magnets. And that's not a viable excuse.There is also no viable excuse for the silly little straps on this magnetrocity. Well, maybe the price. This thing is nearly as inexpensive as the Chinese labor used to assemble it. The straps, though, are non-elastic and a little scratchy on bare skin. Maybe it's good that they aren't elastic. If you wear it too tight on your upper arm it can feel disturbingly like a blood-pressure cuff. So getting the straps to just the right tightness can be tricky and requires a couple adjustments. I tried it on my forearm too and that works pretty well.Back to the raison d'etre for this thing: the gazillion magnets that can warp space-time. The power becomes useful when you want to hold oddly shaped things: Various sockets, screws, washers, nuts, screw tips... I use this in conjunction with my impact driver which has a 1/4" quick-change. I'll be running some copper pipe and will need a 3/8", 1/2", and 9/16" socket, Philips bit, and some metal clamps with nuts and bolts. I can keep ALL of this EASILY on my arm, ready to go, just throw your hand over there to your bicep and grab stuff, and when you switch out you just throw stuff at your arm and it stays. So fast. I have also taken it off my arm and stuck it to a a metal stud or pipe or a scissor lift and used it like an organizer.My girlfriend thinks it looks like batman's suit. My co-workers call me Magneto. The fact that this arm band brings comparisons to comic book superheroes is surprisingly appropriate given its heroic super-powers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Multi-Uses and Good Magnet Strength *by P***M on Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2015* As a female, I like this item very much and purchased several for two purposes (see photo). First one I bought to wear as intended, on arm, while working in my attack or other. This is why I mention that I am female. My arm isn't "huge" so it fits nicely and stays secure on my arm even when I'm crawling in and out of tight spots on my belly. The nails, drill bits, etc stay nicely secure even if bumped lightly as the magnets are quite (adequately) strong. A screwdriver or other "larger" tool will stay on but if you are crawling on your belly and bumping into beams, obviously they will get knocked off. Similar scenerios apply. I then ordered 3 more for my metal tool cabinet in the shed (see photo). Kitchen knife holders and other "magnet strips" have to screwed on and can be more expensive. I didn't want to deface my cabinet with screw holes so these bands work perfect as both sides are magnet. The "leather" fabric protects my cabinet, while it securely adheres to where I hang it. Then I beautifully display drill bits for easy organization. Nothing, not even "heavier" bits have fallen off - unless "knocked" - and I've used them for over 2 years. I'm very happy with both functions that I use this product for. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great For Some Items, Not for Others *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2013* This is a great way to hold onto certain items but not for others. I mainly wanted it to use to hold onto my screwdrivers as I am working. I have screwdrivers where the shaft goes all the way through the handle unlike some lower quality screwdrivers. So I thought they would work well because of the extra metal. But if you try to attach the handle to the tool band-it, it barely holds on. If you attach the shaft of the screwdriver to the tool band-it, it works great. Has a very good hold then. However, the handle is sticking out and is easy to bump while crawling through tight spaces.I'd recommend it for holding onto other items. It does a really good job at holding onto small metal items like screws and nails.I not only strap the tool band-it to my arm, I also strap it to the top of my step ladder to hold onto screws and nails. I used to use the tray on my ladder to hold the screws and nails. But sometimes I'd forget they were in there, fold up the ladder to move it, and scatter screws and nails all over. Not now with the tool band-it holding onto them.
