Product Description Nurofen for Children Orange 3 months to 9 years 100 mg/5 ml Oral Suspension is a liquid Ibuprofen suspension that provides pain and fever relief for children. Ingredients Contains Ibuprofen 100mg/5ml Suspension Also contains: Maltitol Liquid and Glycerol Directions DIRECTIONS: For oral use. Shake the bottle well before use. Use the syringe inside to measure the dose accurately (See leaflet for details). POST IMMUNISATION FEVER: One 2.5ml dose followed by one further 2.5ml dose 6 hours later if necessary. No more than two 2.5ml doses in 24 hours. If the fever is not reduced, consult your doctor. Not suitable for children under 3 months of age. FEVER AND PAIN: CHILD'S AGE: 3-6 months (weighing more than 5kg), HOW MUCH: 2.5ml, HOW OFTEN IN 24 HOURS: 3 times. CHILD'S AGE: 6-12 months, HOW MUCH: 2.5ml, HOW OFTEN IN 24 HOURS: 3-4 times. CHILD'S AGE: 1-3 years, HOW MUCH: 5ml, HOW OFTEN IN 24 HOURS: 3 times. CHILD'S AGE: 4-6 years, HOW MUCH: 7.5ml, HOW OFTEN IN 24 HOURS: 3 times. Review: Easy to swallow and nice taste - My little boy prefers the orange taste of this medicine to other brands. He says its less gritty and easier to swallow. It worked quite quickly on a recent tummy ache and he was ok for a few hours before needing some more before bedtime. The included dispenser is easy to use and its clearly marked so easy to check you are giving the correct amount. The bottle is a little large to carry about in a handbag but it would be ok for a suitcase or school bag. I have been pleased with the quality of the product and bottle.
Review: Finally a different flavour! - Worked well for after my baby had his vaccinations. Tried previously with the popular strawberry paracetamol brand but found he doesn’t like strawberry! This is the first brand I found that does a different flavour and it’s helped immensely!
