Review: EXTREMELY durable, excellent tracking and great app. - I use it as a watch/basic fitness tracker. It has survived the worst of the worst impacts, against doors, walls, cars and much more and hasn't gotten a single crack on the screen. Battery life after almost 2 years is still around 4 to 5 days and every so often when I check the app on my phone, it contains all recorded data without skipping a beat. Review: Pretty good activity tracker - I'm writing this review after 5 weeks of continuous usage. THE PROS AND CONS ARE PURELY BASED ON MY PERSONAL USECASE. IT MAY DIFFER FROM USER TO USER Pros: 1. Accurate heart rate monitoring 2. Automatic workout detection 3. Super lightweight 4. Great aesthetics (it doesn't come off your wrist at all as it has a classic wrist watch strap) 5. Great battery life (lasts up to 5 days without notifications being enabled. I don't enable notifications as I don't want another device buzzing around my wrist) Cons: 1. Initial set up of the device. It is so F hard that it took close to 20 mins for me. The app needs a major make over. 2. Brightness is a serious issue. Even at full brightness, it is difficult to even read time when out in bright sunlight. 3. In some rare occasions, the device hangs for a couple of seconds. I'm still not able to figure out the reason behind it. 4. Connected GPS doesn't work as expected most of the times. However I don't really feel the need for it as I don't want some third party companies to keep record of my jogging track.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: charger cord included?**
A: The charging cord is included, but it may not have the original fitbit charging cord.  It is supposed to come with a charging cord that has a button toward the base so that you can restart it if needed, like if the display goes away.  The cord that I received through Amazon does not have this button, so restarting it is a bit trickier.

**Q: Is this waterproof?  Would it track swimming sessions?**
A: Hi @VladQui, the manual says that the HR function is disabled because the optical HR method doesn't work accurately through water (it's shining a light at your wrist trying to gauge blood flow and water bends the light). That said, if you only want a relative number, I've found that if you manually set the start of a "workout" (the most generic of the built-on choices) as you get into the pool, then it will give you HR data. I also snug the wristband extra tight.  Also, you can set pool length -- on the Inspire HR, open Exercise and choose Swim, then swipe up and tap pool settings.  It will then allow you to set the pool length.

**Q: How accurate is the HR tracking for strength training/weight-lifting workouts?**
A: It’s pretty accurate. I was using this while hooked up to a halter monitor. It was very close.

**Q: Does the screen on the lilac option actually have a purple tint to it?**
A: I put it next to paper, white sheets and and a white napkin and covered the bands.  The images do have a purple tint.  It appears that the whole “watch face” is a purple tinted continuous surface.  So yes, your eyes see real lilac.  There are grey tones and thus some grey dots where the image needs depth or delineation.  So, the majority is light lavender and the remainder is grey.  It’s pretty darn cool and pretty, too.  You will like it. ( my sis has a black band and I also compared face-to-face with hers). Enjoy!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple health tracker with loads of features.

A very nice health tracker. A budget friendly device with all basic features including heart rate monitor. Works pretty well and also seems to be pretty accurate. Customizable clock faces would be nice..but that's just some frills. Does the intended actions pretty well. The Mobile app is also well featured.
