I made a few changes that complicated the installation but as advertised the installation would be a breeze. That is if you don't mind the big socket protruding from the power slot. So I disassembled and hooked directly to power and ground. They are easy to route and stick well (thoroughly clean the surface with high grade alcohol). The remote has multiple settings and can be powered off.
