Review: Keto Natural Pet Food - Ketona Salmon Dry Food for Adult Dogs -THE BEST!! - Kept Natural Pet Foods for dogs is the best food I have ever found and does not lie or deceive its customers. As a large breed dog owner for over 30 years, I cannot say enough great things about Keto Natural Pet Food - in particular we love the Ketona Salmon (for adult dogs) -- it is TRULY low carb and high protein, no grain healthy dog food, and does not deceive people into thinking the carbs are lower and the protein is higher than they really are (as many other brands do.) It is not full of potatoes, peas and other needless carbs and fillers. Our two Great Pyrenees have had no problems with allergies - which they had before switching to Ketona; their appetite is wonderful, skin and fur beautiful, health and energy good, and their weight is ideal; They need less food to feel full and the food is fully nutritious and includes Taurine, and there is good evidence that low carbs & good protein can reduce many significant problems that affect dogs. Daniel Shutoff, the CEO of Keto Natural Pet Foods is extremely well researched in scientific evidence about what dogs need in their diets, and is the author of "Dogs, Dog Food, and Dogma" a -- great source about nutrition for dogs. More importantly - I know my dogs are getting the best nutrition for adult dogs that I can give them. Keto Natural Pet Foods Salmon or Chicken dry food for Adult dogs goes beyond the minimum federal requirements that the big three pet food companies use as their standard for dog food (and many of those brands are high in carbs, low in protein, and full of grains and fillers)! We love Ketona Salmon or Chicken dog food, by Keto Natural Pet Foods -- the proof is in their dog food, their scientific evidence, and our dogs great health.
Review: Diabetic Dog - I have an 8 year old diabetic lab. He has been diabetic for about 3 years. I started feeding him Dr. Harvey's dehydrated Paradigm food, rehydrating it with homemade bone broth and adding the 1lb of protein per day recommended. I bought this to supplement the Paradigm and he just loves this food!!! Being a lab, he is not pick and he tends to gobble any food-- BUT he smells this food (it does NOT smell good- actually smells awful but it dried Salmon!!!) and he can hardly wait for me to put the bowl down! I will have another Libre diabetic glucose device applied to him so I can monitor his glucose with this food addition, but I suspect it will be about the same as it is 95 percent protein. I will not stray from Dr. Harvey's food with the bone broth as I think all the vitamins and minerals are what keep his skin and coat so healthy. I just needed something to add to the flavor and also to add to make up for the 1 pound of protein he requires daily. Shopping for meat to feed him is so costly with inflation. I know this food is expensive, and maybe not any more cost effective, but it is cutting down on the constant grocery shopping for meat. AND he LOVES IT! FYI.. my picky GoldenDoodle tried it... she is not anymore keen on this food than any other. She will eat it ... but only when she gets good and ready!

## Features

- HIGH PROTEIN, LOW CARB: 90% less carbohydrate than other leading brands, with twice the meat. More than 46% protein and less than 6% carbohydrate.
- NATURAL: Keto is a dog’s natural diet. Fat and protein are essential. Carbs aren’t. Your dog’s ancestors ate meat, fat, and nothing else for 99.9% of their evolution. Mother nature knows best.
- KEEPS DOGS LEAN: Burns body fat instead of storing it, and builds strong lean muscles. Lowers blood sugar levels while reducing itching and inflammation.
- ULTRA-PREMIUM NUTRITION, LOWER COST: More protein, more meat, and fewer carbs than most raw and fresh diets, with the cost and convenience of kibble.
- FAST, EASY TRANSITION: Ketona’s low-carb recipe means you can switch all at once. No gradual transition necessary. Unlike high-starch food, which can be rough on a dog’s stomach.

### ⭐ Another person with rotten food review!
*by N***X on March 7, 2026*

I used to love this product. They were bought out or something. Two last bags smelled funky, dog kept throwing up. My client who works for the fda said with the budget cuts they don’t have the resources they used to have to keep up with pet food and have to prioritize human food. Buyer beware- their quality control sucks! It’s too bad, because this was the only keto kibble. Really helped my dog best.
