Review: Perfect even for an absolute beginner. Clasps on to any mask - Worked great on a recent trip to the Virgin Islands. I’d never snorkeled before and these were easy to get the hang of. Note to self….you MUST wear a mask or plug or your nose because without it you’ll give yourself a comprehensive sinus enema…ask me how I know…. I swim well and have never needed to plug my nose before, and only rarely wear goggles, so it hadn’t occurred to me 🙄 that I would need something. Luckily I practiced in our local pool before I was out in open water! Haha! I nearly drowned! Not really but I was glad I could put my feet down while coughed and snotted myself clear. I thought my husband would say I was doing something wrong but, he just laughed and said you definitely have to wear a mask. I love how you can clasp these on to any mask. I brought my snorkel on the trip and then rented goggles and fins there. Did you know they have “prescription” goggles?! I didn’t. The first trip I was blind but got to practice diving down to see and then coming back up and clearing the tube super easy even for beginner. The next dive I got the special mask and it was much more enjoyable. The biggest “trick” with the snorkel is to remember not to breathe out all your air before you need to come up. You’ll need some left to clear the valve. The valve process even made it so I could handle some minimally “rough” seas without having to pick up my head, while swimming along looking down at stuff. It’s super light, came with a breathable bag (not mesh so it’s keeps some of the sand contained but doesn’t get things moldy, and fit really nicely in my carry-on. I honestly have no cons at this time but I haven’t used it for multiple extended trips. So your mileage may vary.

It travels well in a jam-packed carry-on without deforming the mouthpiece. Hangs off to the side out of the way -you don't know you're wearing it when you're scuba diving. One day was particularly bad where I got sea sick on the boat, but before that when I was bobbing in the ocean, no water got into the snorkel. Great product!

Great snorkel for the money. Just finished my third scuba trip with it. It travels well in a jam-packed carry-on without deforming the mouthpiece. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durable and no leaking, but I wanted one with a headpiece attachment

This is a good snorkel and works just fine, but I recently upgraded to a snorke that has an attached head piece and it totally changed the game. While this one works fine, the other one I have with the head piece makes swimming faster, smoother, and more effortless. It made all the difference for me. With that said, I would recommend talking to fellow swimmers and doing some research on different types of snorkels before making your purchase. Everyone has a different opinion and different things work for different people. I will say that in terms of comfort and ease of use - this one is good and I didn’t experience any leaking or problems. I just liked the one with the attached head piece better for the swimming that I am doing. Do your research folks, and find out what works best for you. Hope that helps!
