There is a tan under-layer that pretty much would fit anyone. Like cutting the head and arm holes out of a large garbage sack and slipping it on. The rest just drapes over that with Velcro to tighten, or loosen. I'm 6'1" with a 37" waist and 250lbs at the time of the event (recreational bodybuilder/lifter). The "Plus size" still needed to be safety-pinned in a couple spots because the Velcro wasn't strong enough to hold, but just because of the weak Velcro on the specific piece. It had enough room to accommodate another 100lbs, but could have been tightened enough to fit someone skinnier. There is a version of this in L, M and S, so I'd just stick with ordering what ever they tend to be and if they are XL or XXXL, get this one. This would work just fine for someone tall and thin, big and muscular, or with a huge belly. And it really does look great for the price. But be warned, there is no shield or sword! *by R***N on July 15, 2018* Not bad! But be warned, because there is no sword or shield like in the photo. I even went back to look to see if it clearly states that there is no sword or shield included, but it does not, or at least not on the initial add that I could see. It really should be there plain in bold letters. But that is the sad nature of marketing. Somehow though, I did not expect a sword, but I was hoping for a shield. At least they did not show a helmet that isn't there. I have extensive "prop manufacturing" experience, so I had a nice sword made form sheet metal (roofing flashing) in a couple of hours. But a wooden cut out covered with spray mounted aluminum foil with duct tape wrapped thickly for the handle would do just fine. Lack of shield and sword notwithstanding, to me, the costume was a descent snag for the money! It did require three or four safety pins here and there. But hey, when you have to be general in the fit to allow for all kinds of bodies, what else can you expect? Mine was a "large", I think. But they run large, so be careful! I am 6 feet 1 inches, and I thought the "under dress" or toga part was a bit short, as it came to just above my knee caps. But that is just me. I never even wear shorts except to swim, so that part probably wouldn't bother most guys. Anyway, it was a big hit at he play I was in! And if you have a bit of imagination, and little time to make a sword, or a shield, get them somewhere, you can make it a really, really cool outfit!
