A: I believe I seen its Taiwan or Hong Kong, but not 100% positive.  Good quality and not typical flimsy Chinese junk.

**Q: These are a great design, is Snap-On or higher qualty tool available?**
A: Snap on does make Their own pry bar set but I don’t know if they have the pliers

**Q: Not designed for, but I need something to pop the tops (seals) off of my home canned goods without damaging the lid. Would it work?**
A: Most likely these will not work for that..These tools are similar to the "claws" on a tack hammer and work beatifully for which they were dcesigned --to pull plastic fastners used predominantly in motor vehicles.

**Q: Can the clip pliers be used to remove the muffler from the boot?**
A: They are a prying/separating tool.  Woulnt use them for anything heavy duty.
