The only thing I can give advice about is don't put the can right next to whatever you're painting, keep the can back at like really 1 and a half or 2 feet and spray, you'll get a much better even coat and there won't be any bubbling or runs. It dries fairly quickly but I always let whatever I paint sit for at least 24 hours. I personally don't bake it afterwards, if I get any scratches from using my rifles I just reapply when I see enough of them, but it holds up pretty good for the most part. The lid is the actual color, at least in real life, I'm not sure about the picture.
