Its better for an ipad 2. The case is way too loose if you put an ipad 1 in it. It does not cover the power button, and the case moves around with the ipad in it. It does not fit with a snug. Very loose and I cannot even press down on the power button because the case covers it. I love the color though, very vibrant, and the material is not at all cheap.
