With only 3 or 4 amps needed to run this puppy this cord was fine. I tied the center of the cord to the reel and wound both halves at once...super suggestion from another reviewer but caution...if you run something up near the limit of 16 amps, you need to totally unwind the cord so it doesn't overhead where it is wound and therefore uncooled. It used to take days manually and a poor job. What an improvement! Only glitch was that I nicked the extension cord causing sparks and a cord repair. So I should have watched the cord more carefully! It can do most bushes very well. My heavy tall grasses were difficult and took some time. My woody flowering currents were too heavy and I had to cut them with a heavy cutter. So I'd say that anything over 3/8 to1/2" woody stalk is the limit. Has adequate power, aggressive cutting blade. User friendly. Has several cutting angles. Has a power on lock to save your trigger finger.
