I did really like these while they lasted. So did the then 3-year-old I was babysitting. I got a little use out of them as a fidget toy (I have ADHD, and mild Asperger's, and would probably be described as a "sensory seeker," but I'm also generally extremely careful and gentle with toys), and the little guy and I got a bit of use out of them as an educational toy to learn about seasons, colors, and a bit of basic physics (sound, motion, cause and effect, etc.) before they broke. They were good while they lasted, but for the price (I paid just under $40), I expected them to last a lot longer. While I personally might have liked a bit more fluid inside, for the little guy, it was just the perfect amount, and that's just a matter of taste, so I wouldn't deduct any stars for that. The durability, on the other hand, was pathetic. I wish I'd listened to the earlier reviews, but I've had such good experience with other Abilitations/School Specialty products that I decided to take my chances with this. Wished they were bigger to cover the entire light box that we use them with. Great customer service the items were damaged and we had new ones sent with no hassle and i didn't even have to send the two back that were ok.
