I also had applied way too much and it was overpowering. No luck going out on the town either. I've cutting back on how much I applied, So yesterday I just touched the tip of my finger to the oil to get barely a drop, and applied it behind my ears and in each arm pit(just the one drop for all) I used the spray, one spritz, down the back of my pants.
