Setup was super simple just plug the cord into your phone, pop the cassette into the deck, and you’re good to go. The cord is a decent length and doesn’t feel flimsy, and the cassette itself fits snug without any issues. If you’re looking for an easy, budget-friendly way to play music from your phone in an older vehicle, this is definitely worth it.

Those tend to die after just a few months, and replacing a built in battery is a hassle. This setup lets me connect to an external Bluetooth receiver instead. If that fails, swapping it out is cheap and easy. A nice design feature is the ridge at the bottom. You can flip the cassette over to change which side the cable exits from. The default exit has no ridge, and flipping it uses the ridge for the other side. This makes it work with any cassette holder in my car. One small note: inserting the adapter leaves the cassette tray slightly open. It didn't cause any playback issues in my car, but it's something to know. The cable length is good for the front dash or reaching the driver and shotgun seat. If you want rear passengers to use it, the cable won't reach. I recommend buying an aux extension for that. Audio quality is spot on. I confirmed stereo output works perfectly, though your car receiver also needs to support stereo. 10/10 purchase. Much better than the radio. loving the Spotify is seamless.

**Q: would it work in 2003 Lexus sc430?**
A: If your vehicle has a cassette tape deck and speakers it will work - no matter the vehicle type.

**Q: When I play Pandora from my phone through car stereo there seems to be an intermittent short skip. Is this normal or is there a defect with the playe?**
A: I listen to Pandora or Amazon Music and it does the same thing with both and it makes a whirring noise also. I think it is the tape. Mine also only plays music out of the right speaker and when my regular radio is on you hear music out of both speakers. This is my 3rd cassette and they all have done this.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Little static but worth

Brought an older car that couldn’t do Bluetooth and this did the trick. Functioned great, plugs in so you never have to worry about battery and I never had any delays between my phone and speakers. Sound quality was decent sure it’ll very on speakers though. Did have an underlying static sound but unsure if that was the tapes fault.
