Despite several attempts at resetting the SMC, macOS continued to report "Service Battery" and I only got 4200 mAh in the coconutBattery app, which for a brand new battery with only 2 load cycles is unacceptable. Plus physically, the bottom side of the battery seemed flimsily covered and the build quality seems subpar, leading me to believe that this is just not a high quality battery. Should've dropped the extra $10-20 and gotten one of the more consistently well-rated brands on Amazon instead. The battery shipped quickly, fit perfectly and was easy to install. The seller also send two small screwdrivers which was great. Once installed, the computer was powered on and I recharged the battery after is was depleted. So far, the batter performs like it did when I first purchased the computer new.
