**Q: Is the sound so loud that neighbors will complain?**
A: I don’t know about your hood, but in mine neighbors complain if a squirrel farts. You CAN use it to train, as advertised, but I personally wouldn’t solely rely on it. I try to reward good behavior more than I discipline poor behavior. I have a German Shepherd who is an angel indoors, but always lunges and barks at other dogs during walks. I’ve used the horn twice so far when he has started his shit and it stopped him from acting a fool. Now I usually just have to show him the horn, and his behavior has been improving on walks.

**Q: how many uses out of one can?**
A: Hello. The number of uses per Dog Horn XL varies dependent on how long the actuator button is held per blast. That said, in house testing consistently resulted in getting over 140 short blasts per unit. Thank you.

**Q: Is this product just a basic air horn?**
A: It is basically an air horn but it is loud enough at 110 decibels.  It works fairly good at keeping aggressive dogs away.

**Q: What's the difference between this and the non-XL version? Is this one bigger in size and contains more uses but they both sound the same?**
A: The original Dog Horn and Dog Horn XL contain 1.8 oz of propellant however are different in several ways, both are designed to be very effective in dog training and attack deterring. The original Dog Horn has a actuator that is able to produce 2 different sounds. The Dog Horn XL was developed more rugged for package carriers and workers in the field. It also has a screw on top that can accept refill canisters. The Dog Horn XL is loudest in it's class. The original Dog Horn & Dog Horn XL is simply the best tools for animal training and deterring attacks. When it comes to you and your pet's well being except no imitations!
