They aren’t as fancy as some others but they’ll get the job done. I very much disliked the shin pads that these came with and changed those after 1 climb. If I did it again I’d have saved longer and bought another β€œB” brand’s aluminum tree gaffs. But, with Klein upgraded hyrdacool pads these work well enough and are far more comfortable. I plan to upgrade the foot straps too. Theses are durable but Velcro would be nicer and easier on the ankles.
