Pressure is steady, priming is quick, and the noise level is noticeably lower than the Jabsco it replaced. The price difference is significant. Even if this pump doesn’t match the lifespan of the old one, the cost of replacing or repairing it is so much lower that it’s still a practical choice. If you’re running a similar system and want a quiet, budget-friendly pump that does the job without fuss, this one is a smart pick.

This is not a cheap pump, but I really appreciate the fact that it came with hardware, an optional in line fuse, has nice rubber mounting feet, and seems to have a really thoughtful design. The box and packaging are even well designed, with every spec or question you could possibly have answered on the box. It works absolutely great. I love that I no longer have to wonder when/if the shower sump pump is going to kick on or if soapy water is currently flooding my entire boat. The noise the pump makes is way better than a typical bilge pump. The Guper 220 with about 3ft of head pumps way faster than my water system can deliver, through the shower, so I have no worries about it not keeping up with the job. If you were on city water or a super yacht you might need more pump.
