That is quite secure. The part I am somewhat worried about was the way the magnet adheres to the back of the device, thus holding it in place. As this is a magnet, it won't work through a lot of clothing. One t-shirt is probably all it can do. And I don't know how well it holds up to vigorous shaking or jumping and such. I am keeping this as a backup and use the original clip in the meanwhile. ### ⭐ Sent This Back for Refund *by L***R on February 4, 2019* I had a clasp like this for my old Shine, but threw it away a year or so after losing the shine in the ocean. I got a new Shine 2. Tried it but it fell out almost immediately every time I tried to put it on. Sent this back for a refund. Even if it worked, it was not worth the price charged. My advice is to not rely upon anything with a rubber O ring to support your expensive techno gadget.
