This is a totally natural product and has an almost solid oil consistency that melts into a beautiful glossy, chocolatey butter. Because there are no chemicals or emulsifiers or whatever brands normally use to make products a consistent texture, there are tiny granules in the product that melt away seamlessly and without a problem for me. I live in a very very dry climate and struggle with parchment paper-like, dehydrated skin that gets flaky and itchy (very sad). The only thing that normally helps is castor oil, which smells bad and makes a huge mess. These ingredients together made my skin improve dramatically, and my whole body feels nourished and soft. Cannot recommend enough. I’ve tried every expensive oil and body butter under the sun (OSEA, mama chia, etc) and none of them hold a candle to this.
