When they open the chest, they turn into mermaids with tails rather than feet and an ability to breathe in water. A voice tells them that they were turned into mermaids because the mermaid kingdom needs them to come and save them. As a reward, they can keep the treasure that is in the chest.Children will enjoy the story. The mother and children go through many interesting adventures as they swim to save the Mermaid Kingdom. They are captured by an evil scientist octopus who is trying to find the secret of the mermaid tail. They are locked in a cage, helped by dolphins, get lost, attacked by a sea serpent, and other difficulties that kids will enjoy reading.
