Review: Works well - I bought this spout because I had a good experience with my other EZ-pour spouts in the past and needed one that was narrower than the original EZ-pour because of the unique design of the gas “cap” on my vehicle. The original EZ-pour fit into the first flap of my vehicle’s capless gas tank, but gasoline wouldn’t go in very fast. When I investigated further, I found a secondary anti-siphon flap in the filler neck on my vehicle. I bought this in the hopes it’d work and I was not disappointed. I was able to dump a whole 5-gallon gas can into my 2017 Dodge Durango R/T in under 2 minutes because this spout pushes both flaps open and allows the fuel to flow freely. You absolutely need to install the vent on the gas can though, otherwise you’ll have a lot of difficulty pouring. The spout is very flexible and I was able to adjust it with ease while pouring from my gas can. It seems well made and was easy to install. I’ve tried it with several cans, including Midwest and Scepter with no leaks. Best of all, the tip is compatible with the filler neck on my vehicle and likely its sister vehicles (Jeep Grand Cherokee with capless fuel tank). I recommend it. A word of caution though—don’t leave them out in the elements. I see complaints about the spouts cracking and whatnot; I’d bet money that those are from people who left them baking in the sun all summer or out in the snow all winter. Keep them in a controlled environment when not in use and they’ll last a good while. I’m so happy that I don’t have to fumble with the “other” “safety” or “environmentally friendly” spouts anymore. Review: I like it better than the original - YES well worth the price, and easy to use. It replaces the horable gas tube that you have to hold in and push down the yellow thing. This one just screws on inplace of the one that comes with your gas can. Note, it comes with a plug for the hole you will want to drill in the gas can. So it can breath, I have not drilled the hole, and so my gas pour is slow, but it works great. I have not had one drop of gas leak out of the seal between the can and the gas tube. I've also used one on a 6 gallon water jug. I would say, "yes"... **Q: Does the spout fit into an automobile gas tank filler?** A: I have to assume you are referring to a gas can. I have used it on several plastic gas cans without a problem. It comes with two separate screw-on rings to fit most cans either water or gas. The spout will fit into the gas tank filler on a vehical. You want to get the larger spout for filling your riding mower. The larger diameter spout means the gas flows more quickly and you are holding 5 gallons of gas at an odd angle for moments instead of minutes. **Q: Can I drill a hole to add the Replacement Vent to a plastic container that currently does not have the vent?** A: I just installed this add-on vent to the Blitz Midwest gas can. The instructions recommends a "step drill bit". I started by drilling a 1/8" pilot hole, as I was drilling into the mold seam. Once that was drilled, I used my step drill bit to drill to 1/2", stopping just short of 1/2" so I'd have a VERY tight fit. I forced vent cap in, using a socket to keep the pressure centered. I should note here, that you want to have the cap position as you want it, as once it's seated, it will be near impossible to turn! The vent cap fit was perfect & completely air tight! :) **Q: Will this fit a Clinton P20 - 2 gallon can?** A: The Chilton threads are larger than those on Blitz cans and others. I have both types of cans. Most of the replacement spouts available fit the smaller diameter openings. There is a Chilton can adapter for sale here on Amazon. It is basically a reducing coupler to go from Chilton standard to the smaller threads. In addition, the spout gasket has been improved!
