However, When the phone reaches the 100%, the charger stops and let the phone to run on the battery. Next thing you see is battery level 99% and the charger kicks in again to reinstate the battery to 100%. This cycle continues as long as the phone is attached to the charger.The charger is not smart enough to capture "fully charged" state of the phone in order to prevent charge/discharge endless cycle.. ### ⭐ Craftsmanship Debacle *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2019* This item was a complete waste of money. To begin with, once I got it set up, the pivot point of the charging unit was very weak and would barely stay with an XS MAX on it. After a few days of use, the black center piece of the charging unit started to come out when pulling phone off the charger. The last that happened before I just took it out of my truck and threw it away was the double sided tape stopped working. I only had this charger for a little over a month. If you are looking for something durable, this is not it.
