One word of caution though, if you have young children…they will need assistance with revealing some areas because it can be mildly challenging to reveal just the spaces you want to cover with sand. And of course, playing with sand can be pretty messy, so you’ll want to lay down plenty of newspaper or something to make cleanup easier.

This was the perfect activity for my son’s 1st birthday party! We have a lot of nieces and nephews and friends kids that were at the party and they all loved making this sand art. The colors were super nice and all of the designs were really cute. The kids were entertained and they were so excited with how their creations came out.
