It is essentially fabric and not "suede lined". The lining seems to be some type of textured fabric. It is smaller than I had hoped and most mini 9 mm/s wont fit in it. It does fit one of the guns that I often carry so will keep it. I do like the style but this one is just a little thicker than the leather ones I have and I don't really appreciate the bulk. I carry a Sigsuaer P238 in the small of my back. It doesn't print at all. It's easy to deploy. My concern was that it it wasn't secured and may fall out.
