As such there is a bit of sweetness to the sauce. Normally, I'm not a big fan of sweet, but in this case the sugar is balanced with a number of other complimentary flavors. Like all Rufus Teague sauces, this is a bold flavor. That said, I'd recommend it primarily for pork, secondary target would be chicken.
