Review: This is an awesome buy if youre looking for metallic fun! - I bought this a while ago and I loved playing with it and showing it to friends but be warned...if you play with it in the sink... do NOT unplug the drain under any circumstances. I lost all of it from the drain and I was so sad but there is no complaint from me. Great packaging and quality. Good for fun and playing or science experiments and testing. For stain removal, I didnt get it on my clothes but I assume it would come out easily with hot water. I dont know how much gallium is worth ounce for ounce but I assume this is a worthy value for the amount you get and the tools it comes with. Also the purity seems pretty good but of course I dont have any idea how to measure purity. It melts in your hands after a couple minutes and you technically can put it on your tongue if you dont swallow. That was a joke dont do that...

It's like liquid pencil graphite. - Satisfied child was able to play with a liquid metal like the boomers did with mercury before they realized that wasn't a great idea :( Advice, outside and clothing you don't care about. It does wash fairly easily off some things, others not. Throw child and clothing in bath/washing machine (respectively) when done and consider double zip-lock bags for storage. Older responsible kids 14+ should be able to handle it on their own. Remember, its not a toy, its elemental gallium, respect it as such and you'll have a great time.

**Q: Anyway to verify that this item is 99.99% pure melting gallium? or that this company even really exists outside of amazon?**
A: well you can certainly verify it by 1. Making crystals with it. 2. Corroding aluminium with it.  3. Melting it at warmer room temperatures. 4. Check its density and compare it to known Gallium measurements. There is most certainly no other material that can do all this. You could measures its purity at home to 99.5%, to verify it to 99.99% we use specialty equipment.

**Q: Is it legal in California?**
A: Yes it is legal in all 50 states.

**Q: Does this eventually dry?**
A: Yes. It becomes hard if cooler than 83 degrees. It is really fun to work with. You can freeze it into shapes like a spoon mold.

Definitely pure gallium, but it does leave a gray residue on your hands. Getting it off containers is surprisingly easy. You have to wait for it to dry, scrape off the film, and pour the dust back into the test tube.
