Also, I questioned the trapezoid shape, but I was focusing on the screen and not the dash around it. Since my anti-glare was already removed (the reason I bought this) I still used the alcohol wipe but the dust sticker was my most important tool. Once I got the lint off, I used the suction cup provided and the protector went on perfectly. I had no expectations for this attempted solution, but it works! You can still see some spots through the protector but it has definitely made my screen more vivid. The photo I've added is to show that you can't even tell the protector has been applied.
