We have a ton of these “where’s the bear” and our baby has loved them since we got them and is almost 1 and loves to uncover all the creatures. The end of all these books ask “where are you?” And the mirrors can be great OR wonky like a fun house mirror. When the books have that, I don’t bother to return them. I tell baby that it’s her “in the silly looking mirror”, so she knows it’s not mmmm a regular reflection. Ha! Might be over thinking things here but I just wanted to share that sometimes the mirrors are odd. I buy these in the store too and always check the mirrors there so we have a plenty that are normal. Either way, baby loves the book although she does love to look at the flat and normal mirror page a bit longer. Highly recommend! Especially if your little one loves to pull at things, so reveal games, interact with books and enjoys mirrors.
