Mounts easily to my shoulder. I mounted this to a TriStar adjustable trap gun. The butt plate of the gun does not use standard screw spacing so I needed to drill a new hole. No problem since the pad is solid. I did not grind this pad as it fits fine as is. I have another pad mounted to a field gun that I did grind to fit the stock. Easily accomplished. I intend to order another one to mount onto my Ithaca. Excellent product.
