It would be nice if the floors screwed in instead of laying on the frame. There were holes for screws in the floor but not in the frame. No points off since it’s plenty sturdy as is. It’s real cute and made of real wood. Cedar I think. The only downside is my mini poodle pup doesn’t like it. Can’t blame the house. She will go in every once in a while and perhaps she’ll come to like it. I would recommend the medium size for mini poodles, schnauzers and wire hair Fox terriers. It’s plenty big but not too big. Review: Mister likes it. - I have a little boy who cannot be trusted in the house when mommy and daddy go out. So we had to make him a little enclosed area outside where he could not access the doggie door (to come into our house) when we are gone. We got this dog house for him and he likes it. Our ten-year old grandson helped his grandpa put it together, and it went together nicely and did not outgas chemical smells. I throw an old quilt in there, and when we go out we open the back door to the garage, and he runs and gets in his dog house happily. Of course he is even happier when we come home and he can greet us and come inside our house. I ordered a porch for his house but it has been on back order for awhile (I ordered it when desertcart had a temporary price reduction as they sometimes do for some reason).
