When I'm not pulling it, I have an extension cord plugged into it all the time. Rain or shine. I have had no problems. Supply your own box and wiring. Supply your own suitable alternative fasteners (screws, bolts, rivets) if you will mount directly to a wall or panel. If mounting direct to a panel, the instructions call for a 2.3" circular penetration hole with four screws at 1.9" x 3.3". **Q: does this come in 20a** A: I have not found it with a 20A rating. This one, in accordance to NEC Code, can be used on either 15 or 20 A circuits. Use a 12 or 14 gauge extension cord.
