Review: Great for Gaming - Setup was very easy, two screws go into the back of the monitor, two more into the base. A Phillips screwdriver is included. There is an HDMI 1.4 port that will do 1080 at 120hz, an HDMI 2.0 port that will do 1080 at 144hz, and a Display Port that will do 1080 144hz. The monitor comes with a Display Port cable. Upon powering the monitor on, it will be in 60hz. This needs to be changed in the Windows 10 settings. Under the resolution settings are Advance Display Adapter settings, that's where you change it to 144hz. If you attempt to change it elsewhere, it likely won't take. If your on screen text is even a bit fuzzy, you probably are still in 60hz mode and don't realize it. I changed mine in the AMD control panel, but it didn't actually change until I went into the Windows settings and changed it to 144hz there. FreeSync works very well. I believe the range is 49hz to 144hz. I use AMD Chill to keep my range between 70 and 144. All VSync is turned off so that FreeSync can operate unimpeded. If you're contantly above 144, which is unlikely on AMD hardware, then you may want to try Adaptive VSync. FreeSync also needs to be enabled in the monitor menu. OverDrive is supposed to give you better pixel response. I did not find this worth it, the small loss in color depth wasn't worth the slightly faster response time. The monitor also has advance calibration settings, gamma, red, blue, green, yellow, cyan, and magenta. I found the default to be slightly greenish blue, I lowered each of those a couple of ticks. I also lowered gamma from 2.2 to 2.4 just to get a little more depth on the black levels. Just to note, 2.2 was spot on in my testing, I just prefer the slightly darker shade of black. There is a movie mode that has deep blacks and super saturated, while it looks good, the shadows are crushed in games making it difficult to spot enemies. I found the FPS pre-set to be pretty good. The speakers are awful, not even worth mentioning. I also enjoy the curve monitor. My previous is a 27 inch flat and I always felt like I was sitting too close for the size. 24 inch on a desk is much more comfortable. Very good monitor for the price, 144hz is immediately noticeable, I cannot believe I went this long without it. I would recommend this monitor. My hardware is a Ryzen CPU with an AMD rx 580.
Review: If you're just a gamer this is a good option - First off, I'm not a monitor enthusiast. I'm just a gamer that was looking to get a high refresh, adaptive sync monitor for 1080p gaming because I play mostly shooter e-sports games (Overwatch, Apex Legends, CS:GO etc). Additionally I got this monitor for $120 on a Prime day sale so that makes the value proposition a little better in my case but even at $150 - $160, this monitor is still a good value at this spec range. Gaming The gaming performance is what's most important to me and I'm assuming is what's going to be most important for you as well if you're considering this monitor. In that aspect, it does what's advertised. You'll get 144Hz at 1080p through the display port connection (cable included). Windows will configure the monitor at 1080p 60Hz by default, change this in the settings under advanced display settings -> Display adapter properties -> List all modes. Also, freesync is disabled by default, but it's easy to turn that on as well in the monitor settings menu. I have an Nvidia GPU and G-Sync works no problem. Be sure to turn that on as well in your relevant display driver settings. Image Quality As I said, I'm not a monitor enthusiast, so for me this monitor looks fine but even my untrained eye can tell that the color reproduction is not the most accurate. Colors are quite saturated and whites look a bit on the yellow/red side. Whether or not that can be adjusted to be more accurate, I don't know nor do I really care that much because games look great to me and every thing else looks fine. I did however lower the brightness as well as the red and green to get whites looking a bit more natural. It's a VA panel so viewing angles and contrast are good. I've noticed very minor flickering in a few programs (mainly steam). I don't know what's causing it but it's not so bad that it's unusable and it does not occur often or long enough for me to care. Will update if that gets worse. Everything else -Using the manual, setup was quick and easy. They actually include a decent screw driver with a magnetic tip. That was a nice bonus. -The stand feels sturdy but it is cheap with no height adjustment or swivel. Not really an issue though because there are VESA 75mm mounts -The speakers suck just like every other monitor speaker. -I have a weird issue when I open Spotify for the first time after startup the monitor goes blank for a few seconds. It does not happen in any other program and it only happens once after startup. Weird, but not an issue. Overall I've been very happy with this purchase, and I will update if that changes. Update: Seems like a driver update solved the slight flickering and the issue with Spotify. So now I have no issues. Easy recommendation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good cheap gaming monitor
*by N***E on July 1, 2020*

I've waited a while to review this as I wanted to make sure it would hold up. This was bought for our first gaming pc. Quite pleased with it. I don't have any comparison for more expensive 144hz monitors as this is my first, but it looks great and I feel it was decent enough for the price. The stand could be bigger or a better shape. It doesn't wobble, it feels sturdy, but I'm concerned about accidently knocking it over. It feels like it is a bit too top heavy for the design of the stand. I thought for sure we had broken the screen when first setting it up because it fell over face forward on the desk as we were putting it in place. Thankfully the screen was not damaged but it would be much safer with a better stand or wall mounted. Overall it has been great for both our pc and ps4. I like that we can use the monitor with the pc plugged into the Displayport and the ps4 plugged into the hdmi and just switch back and forth without needing to unplug anything. Just a tip if you want 144hz you do need to change it in the settings. On initial setup everything was defaulted to 60hz. It seems to be a common thing to miss from what I gathered on Google so just adding it here to help.
