Review: Cannot recommend this stuff enough! Amazing paw balm. - When I say this is 100% the best paw balm I've EVER used, I mean that with all of me. It being a stick makes it extremely easy to apply. I've had some paw balms before that were hard to apply because the wax was hard but NOT this one! The wax is so soft and goes on like butter. It also works so good on all three of my dogs, who are all different breeds and makes their paw pads so soft for a few days after! It also gives me some peace, knowing im protecting their paws from the hot pavement. It is definitely worth the higher price!! Highly recommend.

**Q: My older dog has been slipping on our hardwood floors. Someone recommended conditioning her pads to help with this. Has that worked for anyone?**
A: I don’t think so. But as a professional dog groomer I’ve seen some older dogs with nail applications that really help. They like, glue around the nail base and help grip floors.

**Q: My dog just tore his pad. Do you think if i use this it will help prevent that?**
A: I use this Pawtector more to just protect him from extreme cold or hot when ground is freezing or extremely hot.  The Paw Soother this company offers moisturizes and heals dry, rough & irritated pads --- which may help from cracking or tearing pads ?  I use this Paw Soother for just day to day moisturizing when I feel his paws getting roughed up.  On the back it reads: "Frequent use will speed recovery", in case you want to try it to help heal the current tear.

**Q: Has anyone used this on noses?**
A: Their snout soother works great!!!

**Q: Would this help mud come off my dogs paws easier?**
A: Great question! Yes, Pawtection should make removal of mud from your pup's paws a little easier. Just apply the Pawtection before venturing out on your favorite trail, and you're all set!

It's like chapstick for dog paws. We have a small dog. Works a bit easier if you keep it in a warm spot. We live where there's a lot of rock salt being used wintertime is why we're using this product. So far so good for only using a few times.
