## Description

This first ever mild lift kit allows you to go up to a 35inch wheel and tire combination when using OEM offset wheels while keeping the smooth OEM ride and drivability. This is the only complete lift kit for the Ford Expedition that includes mild lifting products for both the front and rear suspensions of the Expedition. The kit includes (2) 3.0inch SST front strut extensions and (2) 2.0inch SST rear extensions along with all needed hardware and instructions. ReadyLIFT Smart Suspension Technology is used to make this kit very user friendly to install requiring no cutting. Professional installation time is estimated at 2.5 hours. Like all other ReadyLift kits, the Ford Expedition mild lift kit will maintain your factory ride.

Review: Amazing lift kit! - I had been looking at putting a lift on my 2016 Ford Expedition EL for quite some time now, but was waiting until I was also ready to replace the struts. I have just over 98K miles on my truck and decided it was time, so I purchased the ReadyLift 3/2 kit to install on my truck. I installed them on top of KYB Strut-Plus coil and strut assemblies on all 4 corners. I have done some limited suspension work in the past, and do consider myself to be mechanically inclined although I'm not a professional by any means. I found this install to be of moderate difficulty, and found the tutorial video on the ReadyLift website as well as the instructions that came with the kit to be helpful. If you plan to install yourself, be sure to have access to 2 jacks and a pair of 3 ton jack stands. I have a 3 ton floor jack and used the spare tire jack as the second one during the install to assist with supporting the lower control arms and helping top push the rear control arms where they connect to the frame back into place after installing the new strut assembly. Aside from normal tools, you will also need a cheater bar to get some of the bolts off as they are heavily torqued. I was able to do this job by myself without the need for an assistant. Stick to the video and it will work out well. I do agree that my upper control arms are now stretched to their max, however since I also installed new springs which will settle a bit over time this will likely improve some. I am considering looking for some longer front upper control arms, however, to reduce the stress on the ball joints. Aside from that, there are no modifications needed and I completed this project in about 8 hours in my garage. Attached are the before/after pictures. Please note that I did initially have a 2" levelling kit on the front that was installed by the prior owner (I removed that when I installed this lift kit), and my wheels are 20x9 with an 18mm offset (XD Grenades). The tires shown on both photos are BFG KO2s, size 305 55R20 (equivalent to about a 34" tire), although I do plan to put 35s on soon and don't expect to have any issues with rubbing given the offset of my aftermarket wheels. All in all, this was exactly the kit I was looking for and I couldn't be happier with the new ride height. It is very noticeable and gives the truck a much tougher look, and even stepping into the truck now it feels much higher than it did before. The truck rides so much better now, mostly due to the new coil/strut assemblies but I do feel that the lift kit has something to do with it as well. I would recommend changing out the struts while you're there unless your struts are almost brand new already, as there is a fair amount of work in getting the old assemblies out to install the lift spacers. I would also recommend considering replacing the front UCAs while you're there, but I haven't looked at other options yet so I don't have a particular UCA to recommend - I recall seeing Moog mentioned in other reviews, so that may be a good option. All in all, I highly recommend this lift kit for the cost and time to install, and wouldn't be afraid of tackling this myself assuming you have the right tools and equipment. Huge improvement over the prior ride height and ride quality.
Review: Lift 'n' Play - Solid product. Gave me enough lift for the Expedition. I do wish ReadyLift or other companies would make a larger lift. After install and alignment, ride OEM ride quality was still there. Didnt have to upgrade struts. Basically lift n play! Handle great offroad, although lol it's technically just a spacer 😜
