It worked perfectly well, and fit great.Only catch is: it is a complex process to install. If you are a complete novice at laptop hardware, I'm not sure you would be able to do it yourself. I had to remove the frame/keyboard, disconnect a number of internal components such as the screen ribbon, the antenna connectors, etc. The fan was actually mounted on the under-side of the mother board, so I had to disconnect the motherboard and gently flip it over (I was trying to minimize the number of things I disconnected/took apart) and then finally got access to the fan to replace it.It's definitely doable, but again, I wouldn't recommend it for a novice. Also, make sure you have the right sized screw-drivers, because if you strip the screws that connect this fan, you'd be -- well, screwed. (No pun intended). There are a couple of good forum posts I found that helped me through the process, but no youtube walkthrough, like you might be used to for other things.Once installed, though, it's working fantastically.
