**Q: Can these be used in a planted aquarium?**
A: I would think so. I used it for a lava plant from Hawaii 😁

**Q: Can this be used to grow fruit plants, like blueberries? Is it nontoxic**
A: Yes, it can be used for that purpose, but there are other pine bark chips on the market. These are very fine/small and also is very expensive for the amount that you receive. I would only use these fine chips for special uses.

**Q: What mix do you recomend for pine trees in South Florida**
A: Hi, I would recommend our all-purpose bonsai soil mix.

**Q: What is the appx. PH?**
A: Good question! I would “think”it would be a neutral, as I don’t know how to test Ph of rock.  I use it only for extra drainage and aeration in my cactus and succulent mix. You may want to write to the company and ask before you buy, or run your own test if you have equipment. Please share info when you get it.
