A very empowering position from which to make positive changes, if desired. It is truely liberating and deeply relaxing. I often suffer from insomnia and this CD will put me to sleep, gently and in a healthy way, without drugs, by relaxing the body and mind with Louise's amazing Deep Relaxation meditation, which is part 2 of this CD.If you do not know Louise Hay's work, you may like the book You Can Heal Your Life or the DVD with her movie to get a sense for her philosophy. Since I am well familiar with it, my favorite CD's are this one and Feeling Fine, 101 Power Thoughts, Self-Esteem Affirmations, Self-Healing, and How to Love Yourself, in that order, since those CDs are wonderful to listen to over and over again, since they state positive thoughts that one can adopt. A lot of her other CDs are also very good and worth buying, but these 6 are the ones I like best because they are most positive and helpful to me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the words and message, but sound quality not the best *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 22, 2011* I love Louise Hay's messages and have many of her books, CDs, and cards.The content of this CD is great but, unfortunately, the sound-- for me-- wasn't the best.The background music seems quite loud and a little "harsh," not calming like I had wanted.I bought this CD hoping I could fall asleep to it, but that hasn't happened yet.In order to hear Louise's voice/words above the loud background music, I have to turnthe volume up very high. Then it becomes much less relaxing.I'd love this CD if the background music was MUCH softer and more calming, with soft tones,so that Louise's soothing voice was not drowned out... so that her voice would be the mainthing I would hear.I still gave it a rating of 4 out of 5 just because I find her messages to be so uplifting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good overall *by S***C on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 18, 2014* Ms. Hay emphatically states that you are COMPLETELY responsible for what ever happens in your "experience". She goes overboard with that message which for me somewhat distracts from her more useful messages. A good CD overall. I cannot listen to the first section (the What I Believe section) when I'm feeling energetic (or want to feel energetic) since her voice is soft, slow and calming.
