**Q: Want to use ribbon as a shoe tie. Does this ribbon knot tightly?**
A: I tied the ribbon in a bow. It stays tight.  When I tug on the ends, the bow easily  slides loose.

In my opinion, the motion of walking around will cause the bow to loosen.  If you tie your shoes without a bow and just knot it, it might hold.

**Q: Is the 'ivory' color closer to beige than white?**
A: It is an off white, closer to the white, very nice color, not that much beige at all.

**Q: Title says 1/4", description says. 5 inch. Which is it?**
A: It is 1/4 in 50 yards
