I purchased these a couple of weeks ago and washed and used them right away. They shed in the washing machine and dryer, as one would expect with new towels. They are quite soft and fluffy. The yarns are close together, which makes these seem high-end. Sometimes new towels aren't very absorbent, but these are pretty good. I think they will get better the more they are washed. The bath towels are not super large, but they are a nice size for a bath towel. I really like that they are organic. I like the that ends have a slight pattern instead of just being plain. I ordered the blue color and it's really pretty, sort of a cadet blue. I'm not one to give 5 stars unless a product exceeds all expectations, but I'm trying to think of anything I'd change about these towels and I can't think of how they could be better, so they win the stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luxurious organic towels *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2019* I wanted to replace some very worn, unmatched towels and upgrade to organic cotton. I ordered 3 different organic options (Pinzon, Rivet & this) in the washcloth size to compare softness, absorbency and wash-ability. While I actually really liked all 3 options, the Stone & Beam set was a clear winner, and I ordered the hand & body towels to match. They are uber plush and fluffy, and feel like you're at a posh spa.I also hate how traditional towels have the 'stripe' of almost embossed fabric a few inches from the end, their 'stripe' is right at the edge of the towel which means I don't hit a rougher spot when toweling off or scrubbing my face it's just all soft.If I remember correctly, these had ~600 GSM weight, which was the perfect balance among the options I tested (Pinzon Organic 700gsm, Rivet organic 450gsm, Pinzon non-organic 820gsm). They felt super soft but still dried fairly fast and washed well. The Pinzon options definitely took a lot longer to dry, and both washcloths and full sized versions were quite heavy when wet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luxuriously soft, but... *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2019* I was very pleased with how much absorbency these towels had as well as how soft they are. I love everything about them except for 2 reasons, which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars:1. They are a very dull color. So dull that they perfectly match the color of dull towels I was replacing with these2. Be very careful with what you wash them with. They spread their lint everywhere when they are washed.
