These copepods naturally clean tanks by consuming detritus and invasive algae while providing premium live food for finicky fish and supporting coral and invertebrate health. Perfect for seeding new tanks or boosting existing populations, this sustainable, aquacultured product ensures a thriving, balanced aquatic environment. ## Description Our Copepods range from juvenile to adult in size and may be difficult to see with the naked eye upon arrival. This is intentional and it allows you to seed and establish a copepod population in your aquarium. Your fish will eat the adults they can see and the juveniles that they cannot see will make their way into the rocks, macro algae, sponges, etc where they will consume detritus and start to reproduce. If we sold all adults, your fish would likely consume all of them in a few minutes and there would be none leftover to reproduce in your tank. Please research this product before purchasing! Imagine having a sustainable & diverse copepod population in your marine aquarium. Tisbee Pods contains 3,000+ Premium LIVE Tisbe biminiensis Copepods ranging from nauplii to adult sizes. Our genuine quality Copepods are 100% viable to reproduce in marine aquaria and will establish a diverse population of Tisbe copepods in your aquarium. Copepods form a "Copepod Clean Up Crew" in your tank as they naturally keep your aquarium spotless by consuming detritus, fish waste, and other invasive algae. Tisbee Pods is great for seeding new tanks & refugiums, boosting existing Tisbe copepod populations, feeding finicky fish & inverts such as Mandarins, Seahorses, Anthias, Wrasses, SPS, LPS & NPS Corals, Clams, and most other filter-feeding inverts. We use excellent insulation and large heat packs. We guarantee every order we ship so if anything does go wrong, we will replace it free of charge. Thank you! **Q: I have a new tank I just started and wanted a good amount of copepods right way. Can I just pour the bag right into my tank? what do they eat?** A: You can put them right in however, I would wait until night. It is best to have a tank that has had some time to develop. These are a great food for mandarin gobies which will starve if the copepods are not available. **Q: How long can these be stored, and how do you store these, refrigerator?** A: Hello, our copepods can be stored in the fridge (in the top shelf of the door, or warmest part) between 38-55F for up to three weeks. Each bottle has an use by date written on it that is three weeks after the date it was bottles for ease of use. **Q: i have a 75 gal tank with alot of rock do i need to add photoplankton along with them I have a manderin** A: Yes - we definitely recommend it - the phytoplankton serves as the primary food source for the copepods while they are in your tank ( and it's what we feed them in our own facility) - dosing with phytoplankton daily will give your copepods the fuel they need to reproduce in your tank! We typically recommend 16oz of Pods + Phyto/ 45 gallons of tank volume - depending on how much livestock you have/plan to have in your tank you could either go with 16oz or 32oz of each monthly! ## Frequently Bought Together - Tisbee Pods :: Live Copepods :: Tisbe biminiensis Copepods :: Cleans Your Tank :: Mandarin & Finicky Fish Food (24,000+ Pods) - OceanMagik Live Phytoplankton Blend - Tetra x Nanno x Iso x Thal Phyto Food for Coral and Copepod (32oz) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/102328264-tisbee-pods-live-copepods-tisbe-biminiensis-copepods-cleans-your-tank](https://www.desertcart.us/products/102328264-tisbee-pods-live-copepods-tisbe-biminiensis-copepods-cleans-your-tank) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
