The plastic is very brittle, but the spring is very strong. A recipe for disaster. Unfortunately, I have to keep them because returning them is a pain in the butt. Haven’t tried them all, but with the first one I tried, the handle cracked off (see pic). They feel a bit flimsy, but it’s a cheap clip used to hold chip bags closed not an artificial heart. I don’t expect any of these to last more than 6-12 months. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good Strong Spring -- Not So Strong Clip!! *by T***J on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2021* These clips seem very sturdy and have a very strong (almost too strong?) spring. Work better than the old "Chip Clip" bag sealer. The material appears to be thicker and I expected them to last a long time. I may NOT be right as the first on the small clips broke just below the rubber grip (see other reviews!) and even using super glue gel product COULD NOT get the plastic to 'weld' together and the clip just broke again after the glue dried.
