**Q: Why glycerin and xylitol?? glycerin sticks and coats the teeth and takes a long time to come off. xylitol isn’t exactly healthy and too sweet.**
A: Xylitol helps with tooth decay (note: not all sugars the same) I understand it helps with dry mouth also. And I don't find the mouth wash to be sweet.
I cant speak about glycerin but I never have felt stickiness on my teeth after using, but I do know that you can't just isolate some ingredients and make a decision. Better companies know how to combine the ingredients for your best results.

Anytime I've had a sore place in my mouth or any uncomfortable redness in my mouth, every time, and I mean every time I have gargled and swished this mouthwash for 3 to 5 minutes, spit it out of course, and don't rinse with water afterward and gone to bed, the next morning, my mouth was completely fine. The combination of ingredients does what regular mouth wash can't do. Try a bottle, it's worth the money.
